#87 [random] Jon Dore is hilarious.

Random thought:

Bailey's 1.4L (1400 mL) apparently has 94 calories per 37 mL serving.

1400 mL / 37 mL = 37.83 (servings)

38* (rounded, servings) x 94 (calories) = 3686 calories in a bottle.

Alcohol really is the devil of muscles.

Canada has actually produced a funny show/comedian! For those who don't live here we have a very shotty history when it comes to producing entertaining television. Two of the greater "successes" we had were Degrassi High which was pretty much Canada's answer to Saved by the Bell (at least, I think Degrassi was Canadian) and The Littlest Hobo - a show about a dog who is basically a secret CIA agent who just roams from town to town solving the worlds most elaborate crimes that seem to stump all local police officials but for some illogical reason a dog with about 70 less I.Q can solve every time. All the criminals seem oblivious to the fact, despite all of them being armed with like assault rifles and possessing the lack of moral conscience to commit brazen robberies, drug deals or even murder they could just, you know. SHOOT THE DAMN DOG, but the dog somehow wrestles away every firearm, drives high speed boats and helicopters while operating heavy machinery in between high speed chases making $846,219 drug busts. It's really quite ridiculous. And yet ran for like.. 10 agonizingly painful years.

I saw some trailer for the Jon Dore show a few weeks back and admittedly, it looked really cheap and stupid. All I normally watch when I'm watching TV at home is the comedy network (and that's usually just The Simpsons and South Park before bed), but the trailer showed him taking up a part time job as a stripper and having to pick a unique persona/stripper image. He decided to go with "Steven Cocking" and... as you can imagine, parodied Steven Hawking in a wheel chair with his voice program. It seemed really low brow which I can be a fan of sometimes but more so utterly stupid.

I gave it a shot anyway.

The only decent clips on YouTube is where he goes to see if he has an STD.

It's risqu
é
, stupid, offensive, immature, oddly intelligent and witty sometimes and for the most part perfectly balanced. I don't think I've ever laughed so consistently in my life before. It's a bit of a shame since I don't think anyone outside of Canada could watch the episodes.. as checking the IMDB page about it it only has ratings for Canada, still.

I'd give it a chance if you're bored and have the time.
